Subject: Discontinuation of B2C Music Distribution Services & Royalty Tracking Options
To Whom It May Concern,
This legal notice serves as an official communication from Aioten Digital Private Limited (“Aioten”) regarding the discontinuation of music distribution services for individual artists and independent labels (“Artists” and “Labels”).
Effective from January 29, 2025, Aioten Digital Private Limited has transitioned into a B2B-only music distribution service. Previously, Aioten operated as a Udyam-registered small enterprise (formerly Udyog Aadhaar) and provided music distribution services to individual artists and independent labels. However, after incorporation as a Private Limited Company, Aioten is now exclusively working with business entities and will no longer provide music distribution services to individuals or independent labels.
Key Updates & Impact:
- Existing Catalog Availability
- All songs previously distributed through Aioten by individual artists and labels will remain live on respective platforms.
- Aioten will not take down any song unless specifically requested by the artist/label.
- However, requests to transfer songs to another distributor will not be entertained.
- Royalty Tracking & Monetization Plans
- Artists and labels who wish to track royalties for previously distributed songs must subscribe to a paid plan:
- $30/month – 70% revenue share
- $50/month – 90% revenue share
- $70/month – 100% revenue share
- Final Deadline: April 16, 2025.
- If no paid plan is selected by the deadline, the default free plan will be applied, wherein all royalties generated will be fully reinvested into Aioten to manage the existing catalog.
- Artists and labels who wish to track royalties for previously distributed songs must subscribe to a paid plan:
- Artist & Label Options
- Artists and labels are free to switch to another music distributor.
- They may request Aioten to take down their songs if they no longer wish to have their content distributed via Aioten.
- However, Aioten will not process any requests for transferring songs to another distributor.

Aioten Digital Private Limited shall not be held liable for any claims, misunderstandings, or disputes arising due to the transition. By continuing to use Aioten’s services beyond the provided deadline, artists and labels acknowledge and agree to the terms stated in this notice.
